Portugal will welcome back midfield duo Deco and Costinha from suspension for Wednesday's World Cup semi-final against France in Munich.

Armando Petit will sit out the match through suspension and Tiago is the other likely party to miss out as Portugal aim to improve on their World Cup best - as losing semi-finalists to England in 1966.

France coach Raymond Domenech is set to keep faith in the team that beat Spain and Brazil in previous rounds and Les Bleus will match Portugal with a 4-5-1 line-up.

Thierry Henry will play as the lone frontman, while Zinedine Zidane - who rolled back the years against Brazil - will be man-marked by Costinha.

Fabien Barthez will break the record of Maxime Bossis as France's most capped player at the World Cup if he takes his place between the sticks. It will be his 16th appearance in World Cup finals.
