Ghana striker Asamoah Gyan is determined to savour the moment when he faces the reigning world champions on Tuesday.
He looks certain to return to the team after missing the victory against the USA - which secured their passage into the second phase - through suspension.
Gyan, 20, picked up a second yellow card of the tournament in the win over the Czech Republic in which he scored and missed a penalty.
That goal not only stunned the world's second-ranked side but proved to be a turning point in Ghana's first visit to the World Cup.
It gave the squad confidence to go on after the defeat by Italy in the opening game.
Gyan, a quick but erratic striker, who plays for Serie B side Medina, cannot wait for the game against Brazil in Dortmund.
"That goal against the Czech Republic gave me a lot of motivation," said Gyan.
"The first game did not go so well for me and I went back to the team hotel to focus on what went wrong.
"Everyone knows Brazil are one of the best teams in the world and of course we have to respect them.
"But there is no pressure on us. We can be relaxed.
"We are a small team but we have shown that we can compete at this level."
Asked about the prospect of being on the same pitch as players like Ronaldinho, Ronaldo and Roberto Carlos, he said: "It means an awful lot to me and I am sure I will be excited when the game comes around.
"It's so special to face a team like Brazil in the World Cup.
"We have our own strengths so we have to go out and enjoy the game. It should be very interesting."
Coach Ratomir Dujkovic is proud of his team's achievements so far but knows this is the biggest test of all.
He said: "I must express satisfaction at the way we have competed.
"This is an historic moment for Ghana football - our first appearance in the World Cup and we have a chance to reach the quarter-finals.
"We know it will be tough against Brazil but my thinking is it is 11 against 11 and anything can happen."
