Spain coach Luis Aragones is confident his reserve team will not let him down when they take on Saudi Arabia in today's last Group H clash.

With the Spaniards having already earned a place in the second round of the World Cup after convincing triumphs against Ukraine and Tunisia, Aragones will rest his starting XI and give his bench players the chance to shine.

"It's going to be the same idea as before but with different players," said Aragones ahead of the match in Kaiserslautern.

"My players will have the chance to prove their worth and they have to win this game for us.

"I have the same confidence in the team that will play as in the side that played against Ukraine and Tunisia.

"The most important thing is to give those players the opportunity to get into the rhythm of the competition.

"I only ask these players to make my life difficult when it comes to making my future selections."

One player Aragones cannot do without is Arsenal's Cesc Fabregas.

Fabregas played as a substitute against Tunisia and proved crucial in inspiring his team to a 3-1 win.

Despite Fabregas having been cautioned against Tunisia, Aragones will play him from the start against the Saudis.

"Cesc is a key player for us and I really don't think he will be booked," he said.

Saudi Arabia coach Marcos Paqueta knows his team face a mighty challenge to progress to the next stage having only clinched one point in two matches.

Paqueta's side must beat Spain and hope Ukraine fail to win against Tunisia.

"We don't depend on ourselves but on the result of others," he said.

"But we are going to give everything and fight until the end."
