Angola may decide to switch to a 4-4-2 formation in their crucial World Cup Group D clash with Iran in Leipzig on Wednesday.

he Africans, who have a narrow chance of making the second round, may decide to drop their 4-5-1 formation to accommodate a second striker.

That may mean captain Fabrice Akwa could be joined in attack by Benfica striker Mantorras.

Iran, who have failed to qualify for the second round, will be without suspended midfielder Javad Nekonam.

Playmaker Ali Karimi has been struggling with an ankle injury and is expected to be left out of the line-up in favour of veteran striker Ali Daei.
