Leo Beenhakker is considering staying on as Trinidad and Tobago head coach after the World Cup.
Trinidad and Tobago Football Federation (TTFF) special advisor Jack Warner had a meeting with the Dutch coach following the 2-0 defeat against England and was in a positive mood afterwards.
Warner wanted to discuss the future of the former Real Madrid boss with the Soca Warriors.
"What Leo has shown is that we can do it," Warner told www.socawarriorstt.com.
"Let's just forget what divides us and let's look at what unites us and if we do this our country will be a better place and what we are doing in Germany should serve as a catalyst for a bright future for the country.
"The feeling has been excellent. There are some things you cannot describe in the world and this is one. I just spoke to Leo and he is interested in working with the team again."
Meanwhile, Avery John is expected to return to the line-up against Paraguay on Tuesday after sitting out the England match through suspension following his red card in the Group B opener against Sweden.
Beenhakker also has doubts with defender Marvin Andrews recovering from a knee injury and goalkeeper Kelvin Jack struggling with a calf injury he suffered prior to the Sweden game.
The coach could opt to give 37-year-old Soca Warriors legend Russell Latapy a run-out in the final game.
Latapy came out of retirement to help the team qualify for the finals but has not featured in the opening two games.
