Freddie Ljungberg set his sights on beating England to top spot in Group B after his last-gasp header rescued Sweden's World Cup campaign from disaster.
The Arsenal midfielder struck less than two minutes from time to inflict a 1-0 defeat on Paraguay and put Sweden on the brink of making the last 16.
Sweden - who have not lost to England for 38 years - will top the group if they win in Cologne on Tuesday.
Ljungberg said: "It's going to be a massive game against England because we both want to win the group.
"It's going to be difficult because they are a good team but it should be a great game.
"I think we played well tonight - certainly better than against Trinidad and Tobago, but unfortunately we had the same problem that we created a lot of chances but couldn't score.
"We were getting worried but hopefully now we have finally scored the goals will come.
"It was not just my goal than won the game, it was a team effort. We had massive support both in the stadium and at home and we would have felt very disappointed if we had not won - and now we have got something to celebrate."
Sweden coach Lars Lagerback will now ponder on his tactics against England knowing that a draw would secure qualification.
He said: "It's similar to the game we played in Portugal in 2004. You have to think about your game-plan - we know one point is enough but you always want to win games, so we will take some time to think.
"It was a really good team effort and the team worked very hard. I think we created more scoring chances so it was a fair result.
"We didn't finish well enough - we had some really good chances, especially Marcus Allback. Paraguay also played very well and worked hard.
"Yes I had a feeling of relief, but the players did a marvellous job. We haven't made it out of the group yet. We will enjoy this and then start focusing on the England game."
Zlatan Ibrahimovic may be a doubt for the England game after being replaced by Allback at half-time due a leg injury.
Lagerback added: "Zlatan picked up a leg injury and we didn't want to risk anything - the medical staff said he could miss the rest of the World Cup if he played on.
"I don't know how bad the injury is, we will have to wait a day or two to see how serious it is."
The result means Paraguay cannot qualify from the group and their coach Anibal Ruiz made a speech after the defeat saying he was deeply hurt.
He said: "We are out of the World Cup and it's painful for the boys but this is life and sometimes you cannot achieve what you want to achieve.
"It was a balanced match, but perhaps Sweden maybe had more chances to score and had more possession, We tried to change things and make ourselves more aggressive but it didn't work.
"It hurts, it really is a deep pain I feel, but we have to congratulate Sweden."
