Sammy Adjei is undoubtedly one of Africa's greatest goalkeepers and this summer he will look to frustrate the world's top strikers.

Although his technique may seem somewhat unorthodox, the 25-year-old is highly entertaining to watch along with having the reflexes and courage to pull off all kinds of stops which leaving forwards often scratching their heads.

Despite his country's poor showing in the African Nations Cup, Adjei came out of the competition with his reputation enhanced having produced a series of fantastic saves in three fine displays.

Adjei played in 10 of Ghana's World Cup qualifying campaign and conceded just three goals in their unstoppable march to the finals and if his form doesn't drop then the Black Stars will be hard to break down in Germany.

The Ghanaian No 1 currently plays for Israel's FC Moadon Sports Ashdod, who he joined last September from Hearts of Oak, but surely a move to a bigger European name is in store for this talented African.
