Position: Midfielder
Born: 24.10.78
Club: Luton Town

Carlos Edwards is a ball-playing midfielder blessed with electric pace.

Like many of the Soca Warriors, he has played much of his football in the English leagues, spending five successful years at Wrexham before joining Championship side Luton at the start of the 2005/06 campaign.

Edwards played a crucial role in qualification for Germany, playing in 12 qualifiers for Trinidad & Tobago, although his single goal came in an embarrassing 5-1 defeat at the hands of Guatemala.

Edwards won the LDV Vans Trophy in his time at Wrexham, but now he will find himself playing in the biggest tournament in the world, and unsurprisingly described qualification as a "dream come true".
