Position: Midfielder
Born: 12.10.83
Club: Petro Atletico

A debutant during the home qualifier against Nigeria in June 2004, Ze Kalanga took just 12 minutes to make an impact at international level after coming off the bench.

Racing down the wing, the Petro Atletico man whipped in a teasing cross that allowed Akwa to net the only goal of the game and prove that despite being just months out of his teens he was more than capable of acquitting himself well in an Angola shirt.

He has since opened his goalscoring account for his country - scoring an 89th-minute goal in the 3-0 defeat of Gabon - but remains on the fringes of the first XI, and looks likely to be relying on substitute appearances for his chance to shine.
