The man known as 'Marvellous' Marvin Andrews has been a fans' favourite wherever he has been; indeed the centre-back has even defied doctors by playing with a cruciate knee ligament injury, putting his trust in God to heal him.

He was Raith Rovers' Player of the Year in 2000 and was signed by Livingston the same year for £50,000, going on to be Livi's Player of the Year their historic Scottish Cup-winning season of 2003/04.

His big move came when Rangers signed him for the 2004/05 season and he again became Player of the Year in his debut season at Ibrox.

At international level Andrews has over 100 caps and is a calm, experienced head at the back. The 'Soca Warriors' will need him if they are to compete with the bigger nations at the World Cup.
