Position: Defender
Born: 04.06.83
Club: Arsenal

The Ivory Coast's first-choice right-back, Emmanuel Eboue joined Arsenal from Beveren in 2004 having previously played for ASEC Abidjan.

Gunners boss Arsene Wenger has praised the youngster for his power, pace and skill and he has established himself at Highbury this season in the absence of first choice right-back Lauren through injury.

Eboue made his Ivory Coast debut against Sudan in 2004 in a 5-0 win, and has shown enough to prove he will be around for years to come.

Next season he will be expected to push Lauren hard for his place at Arsenal's new Emirates Stadium, and a good World Cup performance will give him a good advantage over the Cameroonian.
