Libor Sionko recently completed a free transfer to Rangers and Ibrox fans will be able to have a look at their new signing in Germany after he replaced the injured Vladimir Smicer in the Czech Republic squad.
Sionko is a right-sided midfielder with 17 caps to his name who made his name at home-town club Banik Ostrava before winning a move Sparta Prague in 1999 where he won the Czech Championship.
Despite scoring 25 goals in four-and-a-half seasons with the club, he was allowed to move to Graz AK in Austria where he played just 15 games, before moving to Austria Vienna in 2004.
Sionko impressed last season scoring six goals and alerted a number of European clubs before choosing to join Paul Le Guen's revolution at Rangers.
Described as an old-fashioned winger with great crossing ability, the downfall to his game seems to be his lack of defensive work but Sionko could be an ideal substitute to bring on late in the game if the Czechs are struggling.
