Niclas Alexandersson made his Sweden debut all the way back in 1993 and although he missed out on the 1994 World Cup, he has huge experience.
Ron Atkinson paid £750,000 to take him to Sheffield Wednesday in 1997, and he became a big crowd favourite at Hillsborough, winning the 1999/2000 Player of the Year award although he could not prevent relegation.
Everton paid £2.5million to secure the skilful right-winger's services that summer but his time at Goodison was badly affected by injuries even though he remained an important part of the Sweden side.
Evidence of that came as he scored the equaliser against England at World Cup 2002 before returning to play for his former club IFK Gothenburg.
Alexandersson is in the twighlight of his career and has lost a yard of pace, but he still has the skill and the crossing ability to cause problems.
