Ali Boumnijel waited a long time to get the Tunisian No 1 shirt to himself but it finally came at the age of 36, when predecessor Chokri El Ouaer retired shortly before the 2002 World Cup.
Perhaps that is why he is determined to hold on to it for as long as he can - the big man will be 40 years old at the World Cup and has given no indication that he will be retiring any time soon.
England fans with long memories might remember him appearing against them in the 1998 World Cup, which resulted in a 2-0 win for Glenn Hoddle's men.
Boumnijel has spent most of his career in France and was at Gueugnon from 1988 to 1997. He went on to play for Bastia and Rouen before returning to Tunisia with Club African in 2005.
