Jaouhar Mnari is a lively attacking midfielder who featured in all nine of Tunisia's World Cup qualification matches.

He made his debut in 2002 against France and the same year a move to Esperance, regarded as the top team in Tunisia having won seven titles in a row.

Mnari also featured in all six matches at the 2004 African Nations Cup as Tunisia lifted the trophy on home soil and headed home the only goal of the game in a tempestuos quarter-final against Senegal.

He lost his starting berth during the 2006 Nations Cup, and will be keen to regain it in time for Tunisia's opener against Saudi Arabia.
