Ze Roberto has been in and out of the Brazil side over the years and played no part in the 2002 finals, despite starring in France 98.

However his excellent club form has seen him play a key role in this qualifying campaign and he is sure to travel to Germany this summer.

A hugely talented dribbler who can play anywhere down the left flank, Ze Roberto has even turned out at left-back. However, his real talent is attacking players and he can be an influential member of the side when on form.

Last season was not his best personally but he did help Bayern Munich to a league and cup double.

At 32, this could well be his last World Cup and he will be hoping to make an impression.
