Chelsea winger Arjen Robben will be a major threat for Holland at the World Cup, with pace, an ability to glide past defenders, and a good eye for goal.
Robben started his professional career at Dutch club Groningen and made his debut in 2000 at just 16. He went on to win the club's player of the season award that year.
He joined Dutch giants PSV at the end of his first season for #2.6 million but was loaned back to Groningen for another year.
The 2002/03 season saw Robben in a PSV shirt for the first time as a string of outstanding performances helped them on their way to a league championship.
His Holland debut came in April 2003 against Portugal and he was part of the squad that lost in the semi-finals of Euro 2004 to the same team. Robben shined and was one of Holland's star performers at the tournament
Robben's #12 million move to Chelsea had already been sealed in March of that year. After an injury hit start, he ignited Chelsea's season and they went on to win the Premiership, the League Cup, and got to the semi-finals of the Champions League.
He has become an important player for both club and country, and at his electrifying best, is difficult to stop.
