The Czech Republic Football Federation confirmed on Tuesday that national team coach Karel Bruckner has accepted a two-year contract extension.
Bruckner led the Czechs at the World Cup where they failed to get through the group stages after being drawn alongside Italy, Ghana and the USA.
The 66-year-old will now oversee their bid to qualify for Euro 2008.
"His contract will continue through to the end of the Euro 2008 tournament, if we qualify," said Czech national team manager Vlastimil Kostal.
