ALLBACK HOPES TO KEEP PLACE

Sweden's Marcus Allback is hoping his goal against England will secure him a starting place against Germany in the second round.

The FC Copenhagen striker netted Sweden's first equaliser in the 2-2 draw against Sven-Goran Eriksson's men in Cologne, a result which meant the Swedes finished second in Group B.

They now face the hosts in the knock-out phase and Allback is hoping he has done enough to keep the returning Zlatan Ibrahimovic out of the side.

Ibrahimovic missed the match with England due to a groin injury but is likely to be fit for Saturday's clash in Munich, leaving coach Lars Lagerback with a selection headache.

"It will be difficult for him," Allback told Swedish newspaper Aftonbladet.

"I did what I could and showed that I am in decent form. Now it is up to Lagerback to deal with the rest.

"If Ibrahimovic is fully fit, he will probably start."
