Serbia and Montenegro coach Ilija Petkovic has urged his players to salvage some pride in their final group match with Ivory Coast on Wednesday.

A 1-0 defeat against Holland and last Friday's 6-0 thrashing against Argentina ensured Serbia and Montenegro will be packing their bags to return home after their clash with the African World Cup debutants in Munich.

Underfire coach Petkovic is eager for his side to put on a show in their final Group C encounter, insisting he wants no repeat of the performances in their last game.

Petkovic said: "We will try to salvage some of our pride. We have to try and evade the humiliation that we have suffered here so far."
