South Korea keeper Lee Woon-Jae claims he managed to prevent Thierry Henry scoring a last-minute winner because he was so familiar with watching the Arsenal striker on television.

Henry burst through for a one-on-one in the dying seconds of the 1-1 draw in Leipzig last night but Lee Woon-Jae pulled off a fantastic block.

The Korean keeper said he was able to anticipate Henry's shot and make the save.

He said: "I wasn't afraid when I encountered Thierry Henry one-on-one in the last minute.

"Henry has a tendency to curve his shots towards the far post with his right foot and I could guess what he was going to try.

"If you watch the English Premier League, you see it all the time, and it paid off for me."

Manchester United's midfielder Park Ji-Sung, who scored the equaliser after Henry had put the French in front, was declared the man of the match but he was not happy with his own display.

He said: "I'm not really satisfied with my performance but I kept going and finally we got the break. I tried to concentrate on getting into scoring positions, and then luckily enough it paid off.

"As we did against Togo, we did better the longer the game went on. We now have a really good chance to go through to the round of 16 as group winners."
