Tunisia coach Roger Lemerre believes his side can still qualify for the second round of the World Cup even if they lose against Spain on Monday.
The African side drew 2-2 with Saudi Arabia in their opening game Group H game on Wednesday, courtesy of a last-minute Radhi Jaidi header.
Spain's impressive 4-0 demolition of Ukraine has made them clear favourites to win the group and Lemerre - who won the European Championships with his native France - believes Tunisia's fate could be decided when they face Ukraine on Friday.
"Depending on results, it could all come down to the last match," he said.
"We can still afford to make one more mistake."
Meanwhile, Tunisia striker Francileudo Dos Santos will miss Monday's clash with Spain in Stuttgart and has only a 50% chance of facing Ukraine in Berlin four days later.
Brazilian-born Dos Santos injured his shin in Tunisia's final World Cup warm-up game against a German select XI on June 7 and failed to recover in time to make the World Cup opener against Saudi Arabia.
Dos Santos top-scored for Tunisia with six goals in their World Cup qualifying campaign, and has a prolific record of 18 goals in 28 appearances since being granted Tunisian citizenship in 2004.
