Ahmed Al Bahri seems to have overtaken the experienced Ahmed Dokhi in the race for a first team spot at right-back, after playing six times in qualifying.

Going into his first World Cup, his only drawback appears to be a lack of experience on the international stage, but there is only one way to remedy that, and he should get his chance in Germany.

He has improved immensely this year, and has speed and crossing ability to mark him out as a dangerman in the Saudi Arabia line-up.
