Vladimir Stojkovic finds himself on the plane to Germany despite not having won a senior cap.

And he is unlikely to make his debut in Germany, where he will undoubtedly be third choice behind the experienced duo Dragoslav Jevric and Oliver Kovacevic.

But with both those men the wrong side of 30, Stojkovic is seen as the future No 1, and will gain valuable experience from the trip to Germany.

His performances in helping Crvena Zvezda - formerly Red Star Belgrade - clinch the domestic league and cup double have not gone unnoticed, and he has recently finalised a move to French side Nantes for next season.
