One of the tallest players in world football, 6ft 8in striker Nikola Zigic arguably cemented his place in Serbia & Montenegro's World Cup squad with his performance in last September's crucial qualifier against Spain.

With his team 1-0 down, having conceded their only goal of the campaign, head coach Ilija Petkovic threw on the giant forward. He responded with a towering display that helped rescue a draw.

Since then, he has displaced Savo Milosevic as Mateja Kezman's first-choice partner with a series of impressive performances for both club and country.
