Albert Nadj could have been forgiven for thinking his long and turbulent international career was over until he returned to the fold to aid his country's qualification for their maiden World Cup, playing in their final two qualifiers.
The tough-tackling midfielder has vast experience, having made his senior debut against Brazil for Yugoslavia back in 1994.
He has also played club football in Spain's Primera Liga with Sevilla and Real Oviedo before returning home to Partizan Belgrade.
He was famously thrown out of Yugoslavia's 1998 World Cup squad for refusing to fill in at left-back.
