Oliver Kovacevic is a solid goalkeeper, but has never managed to force his way ahead of Dragoslav Jevric in coach Ilija Petkovic's thoughts.

He took over as No 2 keeper from Dragan Zilic and with Jevric in his current form he will likely have to watch from the substitutes' bench in Germany.

It's a view he should be used to by now, having been an unused substitute in all 10 of Serbia & Montenegro's qualifying games.

The 31-year-old plays his club football for CSKA Sofia in Bulgaria.
