Mauricio Solis is an experienced midfielder who has played over 100 times for his country and has experience of the last World Cup.
A well-travelled midfielder currently playing for CSD Comunicaciones in Guatemala, Solis began his career with Sport Herdiano, making his debut for them at the age of 18 in 1990.
During a seven-year spell there, he won the Costa Rican championship and in 1993 made his international debut in a friendly against Saudi Arabia.
His name may be recognizable in England, particularly to Derby fans as Solis spent time with the Rams in 1997 before switching to Major League Soccer.
Solis was quickly on the move again and went back home where he captured a further two Costa Rican championships in 2000/01 and 2001/02 with Alajuelense, before a brief spell with Greek outfit OFI Crete.
A hard-working midfielder, the 33-year-old is a valuable member of the team.
