Mariusz Jop made his only appearance in Poland's World Cup qualifying campaign in the 2-1 defeat to England at Old Trafford.

Yet having been tormented by the skills and pace of Wayne Rooney and Michael Owen, it is no surprise that the 27-year-old is likely to be little more than a fringe player this summer.

Having previously played for Wisla Krakow and Lodz, Jop currently plies his trade with FK Moscow and is a hard-working but error-prone centre-back.
