Marcell Jansen is an inexperienced member of the squad but is one of those players who prove there is an abundance of talent coming through the German ranks.

Jansen burst into the German national side at the young age of 19 in September 2005. Although coming as a surprise to all German football fans at the time, his inclusion was all part of Jurgen Klinsmann's plans to promote a young generation of German stars.

It is felt that with the inclusion of players like Jansen, Germany are preparing to win future tournaments but do not have the experience in their side now.
