Having begun his playing career with Russian side Saturn Moscow, Vyacheslav Sviderskiy made a return to Ukraine in June last year when he joined Shakhtar Donetsk. However, he struggled to break into the first team and was loaned out to Arsenal Kiev.

Svidersky played just once in qualification, but his composed display at left-back in the 1-0 win over Denmark helped secure his place in the final squad.
