Famous for scoring the goal that won Iran the 2002 Asian Games in South Korea, Javad Kazemian is a team-mate of Mehrzad Madanchi at Persepolis.

Although primarily a midfielder for the national team, he is more than capable of being pushed further forward and he and Madanchi formed a devastating attacking partnership for their club towards the end of the Iranian season.

The 25-year-old Kazemian is quick both physically and mentally and prefers to operate on the flanks, using his blistering acceleration to take defenders out of the game.
