Vahid Taleblou has edged out Esteghlal Tehran team-mate Seyed Mahdi Rahmati both at club and international level after an outstanding title-winning season in Iran.

He shot to fame after saving Iran legend Ali Daei's penalty at the start of the season and was crucial in Esteghlal's championship success.

The 24-year-old made his Iran debut in an Asian Cup qualifier, and his superb reflexes have earned him his seat on the plane to Germany.
