Carlos Bonet had long stints at Sol de America and Atletico Rafaela before joining current club Libertad in 2002.

The midfielder is cool and calm under pressure and is comfortable with the ball when in possession.

Bonet travelled to the 2002 World Cup after only just squeezing into Cesare Maldini's squad and despite not appearing in any of his nation's group games, started in the second-round defeat against Germany.

With just one appearance in South Korea and Japan he will hope to play more during this campaign.
