A bronze-medallist at the 2004 Olympics, Cristian Riveros' career started with hometown club Colon de J.A. Saldivar before spells at the likes of San Lorenzo and Tacuary in his homeland.

Now at Libertad, the skilful midfielder will hope establish a place in the starting line-up for Paraguay's opening game against England.

However, the youngster faces stiff competition for places and may struggle to gain much experience this summer.
