Jose de Jesus Corona is battling it out with Guillermo Ochoa to be Mexico's future number one.

Although Oswaldo Sanchez will have the starting berth this summer, Corona is an excellent goalkeeper who could probably be most other country's first choice.

The 25-year-old was a member of the Mexican Confederations Cup squad last summer and also impressed at the 2004 Olympics.

Blessed with height and supreme agility, Corona is an accomplished shot stopper and can feel unfortunate to have only been involved in two of his country's World cup qualifiers.
