Infamous for his suspect temperament, Delio Toledo has had to fight hard to earn a place in Paraguay's World Cup squad.

His form at Spanish club Real Zaragoza has caught the eye of Anibal Ruiz and he was called up for the two warm-up games before the Paraguayan national coach named his squad.

On his day Toledo is quite solid and particularly good at tracking back, however is not the tallest of defenders so despite having good spring, he can struggle against the bigger and stronger players.
