Nicknamed 'El Cabrito', Jesus Arellano is one of Mexico's more familiar faces due to his exploits at the past two World Cups.
Now 33, Arellano is known for his creative style of play on the right wing which was instrumental in his country's impressive showings at France 1998 and Japorea 2002.
Blessed with skill and trickery, Arellano often dances and skips down the right wing before cutting inside and either delivering a dangerous cross into the box or trying his luck from range.
At club level he has played the vast majority of his career at Monterrey, who he has helped challenge for championship glory in Mexico on a regular basis.
Although Arellano did not wear the Azteca Green shirt as much as he'd like during the qualifying campaign, coach Ricardo Lavolpe is sure to use the talisman after controversially dropping Cuauhtemoc Blanco.
