Richmond Forson is used to crowds of around 200 in the sixth tier of French football so this summer's experience will take his breath away.

The attacking midfielder is another of Otto Pfister's new breed and only made his debut in the recent 1-0 defeat to Saudi Arabia.

Now 26, Forson has failed to live up to potential he showed in his younger days when he progressed through the Metz youth scheme. He had loan spells with a number lower league clubs in France before joining JA Le Poire in the amateur leagues.

Although he prefers a striker's role, Forson is a versatile player who can also feature on the left in midfield.
