Veteran striker Robert Malm seems to have exploded into life at just the right time.

The 32-year-old has been called up to the Togo squad for the first time following a successful season with Brest in the French second division which has also sparked a potential move to Montpellier.

Having played no part in his country's qualifying campaign it came as a shock to many in his homeland when Malm received a call-up ahead of Bachirou Salou.
