Position: Defender
Born: 25.03.71
Club: Gillingham

Plying his trade at English League One outfit Gillingham, Ian Cox is an experienced centre-back who will be desperate to see some action in the Finals.

The Croydon-born star began his career with non-league Carshalton before a move to Crystal Palace, but it was at Bournemouth where he really made his name as a tough and composed defender.

He joined Burnley for £500,000 in February 2000, and moved to Gillingham on a free transfer three years later.

Good on the ball and able to instigate attacks from the back, Cox returned to the Trinidad & Tobago set-up in 2004 after retiring from the international stage three years earlier.
