Although not a regular under Luis Felipe Scolari, Luis Boa Morte has still managed to accumulate over 20 appearances for Portugal.
Lightning quick and able to operate on either the wing or up front, Boa Morte is a real threat and possesses a superb left foot.
Currently captaining Premiership side Fulham, Boa Morte was on Sporting Lisbon's books before trying his luck in England with Arsenal. A former Portugal Under-21 international, he was part of the Gunners' double-winning side before a short spell at Southampton.
Fulham manger Jean Tigana signed the pacy forward on loan in the 2000/01 season and he helped the Cottagers secure promotion to the Premiership, scoring 21 goals in a championship-winning year.
After that impressive loan spell, Fulham secured his services for £1.7million and he boasts the fastest goal in the club's history having scored after just 12 seconds against Bolton in September 2000.
Boa Morte signed a new contract with Fulham last year which ties him to the club until 2010 and enjoyed a successful 2005/06 season which has seen him attracting interest from several top European clubs.
He is a fans' favourite at Craven Cottage, scoring seven goals this campaign and will be looking to add more for his country in Germany.
