Usually deployed off the bench in qualifying yet Ivan Bosnjak will still be hoping to force his way into the starting line-up in Germany.

The Croatian First Division's Player of the Year back in 2000, Bosnjak has failed to convert that into the expected number of international caps having won just 11 when the World Cup squad was named in mid-May.

Primarily an attacking midfielder, the 27-year-old has what is known in the trade as a 'good engine' and has good club experience having played for Cibalia, Hajduk Split and Al Ittihad before joining Dinamo Zagreb in 2004.
