The only member of the Tunisia squad playing his club football in Scandinavia, Karim Essediri is another of the French-born players in the 23-man party.

Currently with Rosenborg, the 26-year-old lists Tromso and Bodo-Glimt among his former clubs and is a popular figure in Norwegian football.

Primarily a striker who prefers to play down the 'inside right channel', there has been speculation national boss Roger Lemerre may field him as an attacking right-back or traditional wing-back where his pace and ability in the final third would give Tunisia a new edge.
