One of the more experienced members of the squad with over 35 caps to his name, yet having failed to feature in qualifying for this tournament Kim Sang-Shik must be regarded as little more than a versatile squad player.

Able to play as either a defender or a defensively minded midfielder, the 29-year-old offers little going forward but is a solid and reliable 'stopper'.

Not the most eye-catching of players and unlikely to get much action in Germany, but Kim's presence in the squad will help the youngsters along and provide Dick Advocaat with a versatile option from the bench if injuries strike.
