Kim Jin-Kyu has been one of the revelations of South Korean football since earning a call-up to the national squad for the Asian Cup in China in 2004.

Kim's performances were one of the few highlights for the national team while it was under the guidance of Jo Bonfrere and his efforts for club side Chunnam Dragons prompted a move to Japanese side Jubilo Iwata last year.

Having played three full games in qualifying, Kim will be there or thereabouts when the South Korean side takes to the field and his versatility and long-range shooting make him a valuable member of Dick Advocaat's squad.
