A versatile performer who can play at either right-back or in midfield, the 23-year-old made an immediate impact at international level by scoring on his debut against Iran to send a message to Song Chung-Jug, his likely competitior for a starting berth.

Currently playing his club football for Suwon Samsung in his homeland, Cho is another of the squad to be regarded as 'one for the future'.
