After clocking up more playing time during the World Cup qualifying campaign than any other European player, Tomas Ujfalusi probably deserves his place in Germany 2006 more than most.
The powerful defender played every minute of the Czech Republic's road to this summer's showpiece and it's fair to say he is an immovable object from the starting line-up.
Since making his debut in 2001, the 28-year-old has developed into a superb organiser and great reader of the game who is also adept on the ball and a strong tackler.
Although the Czechs may not be the strongest defensively, Ujfalusi was instrumental in the side which kept two clean sheets in their vital play-off with Norway as they completed a 2-0 aggregate victory.
Ujfalusi currently plays for Fiorentina where he is nicknamed the 'UFO' by his team-mates, one of whom being Luca Toni who he'll come up against when the Czechs take on Italy in the final group game.
