Although not the first name on Ecuador's team sheet, Carlos Tenorio will still hope to play a significant role this summer.

Big, strong and fast, Tenorio has the potential to pose a major threat for the world's top defences.

But his scoring record is quite poor at international level, having only found the net once in qualifying and that was back in September 2003 in their first game against Venezuela.

He has the advantage of featuring in all three of Ecuador's games in Japan and Korea 2002 but currently playing his football in Qatar, it's doubtful whether he's had enough recent exposure to tough opposition.
