A versatile and skilful midfielder, Densil Theobald has established himself as a key man in the Trinidad & Tobago squad.

Falkirk signed Theobald from Caledonia AIA Fire on the recommendation of international team-mate and Falkirk coach Russell Latapy after a series of dazzling displays for club and country.

Theobald has quick feet and good vision, and is at home anywhere across the middle of the park.

Even though he only turns 24 during the World Cup tournament, he has already won almost 40 caps since making his debut in 2002 as a 20-year-old without ever cementing a regular place in the starting line-up.

Theobald has only scored one international goal but it was one to remember, lashing home a spectacular volley in the 4-0 win over the Dominican Republic in qualification for the World Cup.
